  2. Independent check-in possible from 3 p.m. If we cannot greet you personally, your key is in the safe under the canopy. If required, we will send you the code in advance by email

  3. Free high-speed WiFi "7590-FeWo", unlimited and to the last corner of the property. You will receive the access code at check-in or in advance by email

  4. Your south-facing sun terrace with awning, table and chairs (approx. 45 sqm)

  5. Your covered terrace east side with table and chairs (approx. 20 sqm)

  6. Your charcoal grill

  7. By arrangement: seasonal shared use of the outdoor pool (approx. 40 sqm, water depth approx. 1.40 m)

  8. By arrangement: We wash and/or dry your laundry for €1/machine load

  9. On request: shuttle service topublic transport in the Duchy of Lauenburg, for car-free inquiries and city tours (price on request)

  10. Pets pay nothing! However, we are happy to offer you additional services for a carefree holiday with your dog:

* Day sitting (incl. 2-3 long walks/day) for € 10.00

* Day sitting overnight (so) + overnight stay of your four-legged friend with us for € 15.00

The apartment at a glance

You enter your approx. 65 sqm holiday apartment on the ground floor through the entrance and vestibule shared with the owners into your own hallway.

To the left is the bathroom with toilet, washbasin, tub and walk-in shower. The bathroom has an opaque north window and is adequately dimensioned with approx. 7 square meters.

You almost come into your bedroom with approx. 16.5 square meters of floor space and a 2-wing east-facing window, through which you can be woken up by the rising sun, depending on your taste, or use the blackout blinds to start the new day properly rested.

If you turn right in the hallway, you enter through a glass door the combined living and kitchen room with 2 additional beds, which can be converted into a couch in no time at all when not in use. This room measures approx. 35 square meters and has an east and south-facing window as well as a double-leaf glass door that gives access to the sun terrace.

​The garden

 

In summer you can really enjoy your holiday in the large garden of "elkes-feriendomizil-sh".

Whether in the blazing sun or sheltered under the awning on the south-facing terrace, in a shady spot under the corkscrew willow or on the covered east-facing terrace - here you can unwind and really relax.

The square property with approx. 1250 square meters of floor space is protected from view by a bamboo fence and flowering hedge (mainly hibiscus) and is almost closed all around. The largest part of the garden, including terraces and pool, is relatively "escape-proof" for four-legged friends with a wild fence. But beware: Freedom-loving little bullies probably won't be put off by this.

Tits, sparrows, finches, starlings, blackbirds, wrens and robins cavort in the hedge, and now and then hawks and sparrowhawks rest on the fence and look for easy prey.

The east side of the property borders on a hay meadow and is close to nature, in the North German way, with a "kink". In the middle, a large corkscrew pasture provides shade, which is home to countless cockchafers and butterflies in early summer. Two large and healthy mountain ash trees (a currently threatened tree species) attract numerous birds with their red berries in late summer.

Sparrows breed regularly under our roof and swallows and swifts have built a colony at our neighbour's house. A real spectacle when they "storm" our pool to drink and swim on warm summer days! From the early summer evening hours, the bats, which have slept through the hot day in the old stables in the area, come silently.

We keep our property close to nature in order to be able to offer a variety of increasingly rare animal species a habitat. Anything that grows is allowed to grow and is only kept short by regular pruning.

​In our garden we do not use any poison for our welfare and that of the animals!
